Just because you CANT be online a lot of the time like others, you decide that you have to CHEAT so that you can on ALL the time. So if Evony doesn't want to enforce that particular rule, who are you to criticize their decision.? NOT because it's unfair, NOT because it's making *lazy people* a challenge, NOT because it screwed up your high hopes of a quick, clean war. and all of a sudden you FREAK OUT because noobs with no money and no time use a BOT to stay competitive.?īotting is against the rules: THAT is why we should not bot. experienced people have an advantage over noobs people with time have an advantage over busy people rich people have an advantage over poor people People who have played on previous servers know the game and therefore have an unfair advantage over noobs who need to make a lot of mistakes in order to learn the game themselves. Spenders also have an unfair advantage over non-spenders, that's pretty obvious, you may argue that they DO pay for it but even if it's legit, it remains a big advantage. That gives you a huge advantage over players like me, who play 1h a day tops - and not because we don't WANT to play more but because we CAN'T for various reasons (work, school, difficult internet access. Melri, judging from your troops and heroes, you are online quite a big part of the day. EXCEPT that bots can be online 24/7, and a player cannot. In other words: these bots do nothing a player cannot do. I don't know bots very well - but from my understanding all they do is farm, maybe set off an alarm if you are under attack, eventually open/close gates - basic manoeuvres any noob can do. These are sad times for honest players in Evony, indeed. His alliance should own a state by the end of the month, and be well on their way to reclaiming their old scandelous reputation. He declared his return and plans on using every cheat again in this new "enforcement free" era of Evony.
In fact one of the most notorious botters that lead an entire alliance of botting, multi-account, sharers was permabanned along with his entire alliance He is somehow "reactive" after the recent merge. And now these previously honorable souls will face a permaban if Evony does decide to start enforcing the rules on a large scale again. They simply cannot compete with the mega-cheating that is going on. Just to survive, I have seen once honest players turn to a defense bot or account share. I saw no effects from Operation Cerberus. Evony's seeming lack of enforcement just emboldens them to cheat more. Players botting and multi-accounting and account sharing is so rampant, that I have given up hope of seeing any enforcement. I hope you will still stay on this website however, and take a look at all the other Evony articles posted here, there are lots of useful strategies and tips here after all.I've stopped reporting them. If you're looking for evony-bot, scripts or other cheats, you will have to go somewhere else. Hopefully there are good mechanisms in place in Evony Age II that can catch bot users easily. I'm pretty sure Evony will keep up cracking down on players trying to cheat in Evony by using tools like these to get an edge in the game.
Many of these bots and script don't even work anymore anyways, and to my knowledge there are no tools like these that work for Evony Age II. I believe Evony Age II looks really good, and I hope bots and city management scripts won't be as much of a problem in this new version of Evony, as it has been in the old one.
With Evony Age II coming out soon I believe it is much better to try to get rid of this bot problem. I've written about these cheats for Evony before in various articles on this website, but I've decided to stop doing so now. I know there are lots of evony bots, city management scripts and other types of tools out there for Evony. It also provides a nice server map, so you know where your strongest enemies are. Sometimes you wish, you could just run the game and not worry about having to manually enter the research or building housing and armies.
